Casual berths are available for lease starting from one (1) night with medium and longer term rentals subject to availability - please register your details and/or contact Marina Manager for information. Magnetic Island Marina is located at Nelly Bay Harbour on Magnetic Island - a 20 minute commuter ferry ride or 7 nautical miles port-to-port from Townsville, with regular direct flights from connecting to most capital cities.
Some 80% of Magnetic Island is National Park while the surrounding waterway is located within the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The island is part of the Palm Group of islands that extend beyond the Hinchinbrook Channel. Magnetic Island boasts a unique blend of natural bushland, towering hoop pines, huge granite boulders and picturesque bays laced with fine beaches.
